Čo všetko musíte urobiť pred smrťou
Ak berieme vážne knihu, ktorú vám teraz predstavím, tak si musíte vypočuť 1001 albumov, ktoré odporúča kniha 1001 alb, která musíte slyšet, než umřete. Už vieme, že je to iba hra, skôr inšpirácia a nasmerovanie v džungli hudby, ako záväzný rozkaz – toto si rozhodne musíte vypočuť. Možno aj vy patríte k ľuďom, ktorí neznášajú, keď im niekto s nadšením hovorí: túto knihu si rozhodne musíš prečítať, tento film si rozhodne musíš pozrieť. Ale možno sme niekedy vďační za tip, ktorý nám dobrá duša nezištne dá. Alebo si jednoducho iba radi potvrdzujeme, že to, čo sa páči nám, sa páči aj niekomu ďalšiemu.
Táto kniha prináša odkazy na jednotlivé albumy. Niektorým je venovaná celá strana, niekde celostranová fotografia interpreta, iné sa musia o jednu stranu deliť s ďalším albumom. Je tam obyčajne obálka albumu, vydavateľské údaje, krátka, výstižná, vtipná charakteristika, celkový čas, niekde aj zoznam skladieb či nejaký výrok dotyčnej hudobrity (= hudobná celebrita).
V predhovore tejto obéznej knižky (má 960 strán) sa píše: „v této skvělé galaxii alb naleznete několik desítek svých miláčků a doufám, že vás její průzkum inspiruje k vyhledání dalších desítek budoucích pokladů, které byste, nebýt knihy 1001 alb, která musíte slyšte, než umřete třeba nikdy nebyly slyšeli.“ To nám/vám odkazuje Michael Lydon, zakladateľ časopisu Rolling Stone, ktorý tiež určuje vkus poslucháčov.
Tak som si teda urobil prieskum hudobných albumov, ktoré som v tejto knihe našiel. Usporiadal som ich kvôli prehľadnosti podľa abecedy a kvôli úspore miesta som neopakoval mená interpretov. Medzi tie moje patria:

Ak vydržíte niekoľko dní, pokúsim sa uviesť ďalšie albumy, ktoré musíte počuť, aby ste nezomreli (od toho, čo sa hrá v našich rádiách).
